Minneapolis, Min., July 1, 2008 — Not even a tornado warning and severe weather on the streets of downtown Pittsburgh voiding the final stage of the Tour of Pennsylvania yesterday could dampen the mood of Jonas Carney and the Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast team. After a week that saw a KBS/M athlete on every podium of every stage, the team took the overall win as well as second place in the stage.

Surprise Attack Guarantees KBS/M Team Green and Yellow Jerseys Going into Final Stage

Minneapolis, Min., June 29, 2008 — David Veilleux and Keven Lacombe of the Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast team blew the field apart yesterday at the Tour of Pennsylvania when the pair created a 13 second gap to take first and second places in the penultimate stage of the race. The move gives the team both the leader's yellow and sprinter's green jersey going into the final stage today.

Minneapolis, Min., June 28, 2008 — David Veilleux powered to a first place victory today, Friday, and won arguably the toughest stage of the six day Tour of Pennsylvania. Climbing 15 percent gradients to race the 60 mile course over the Algeheny Mountains, Veilleux demonstrated the form that has seen him win the final stage of the Nature Valley Grand Prix in Stillwater, Minnesota and the Kelly Cup in Baltimore in the past few weeks.

Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast Takes Three Podiums and Sprinter's Jersey in First Two Days

Minneapolis, Min., June 26, 2008 — If anyone doubts the Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast program as an accelerator of hot young talent, they should head to Pennsylvania. Quickly. Tuesday Keven Lacombe opened up with a second place in the time trial stage of the American Eagle Outfitters Tour of Pennsylvania, followed by David Veilluex in fourth. Yesterday, in the road race, the pair did one better, with Lacombe, delivered to the front by Veilleux, taking the stage win in spectacular form.
