David Veilleux Crash Means Change of Plan for Carney and KBS/M
Minneapolis, Min., August 18, 2008 — When David Veilleux crashed in the early laps of this past weekend's USPRO Criterium Championship, performance manager Jonas Carney knew, without an extra sprinter, a change of plan was needed to defend the Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast team's 2007 win at Downer's Grove, Illinois.

KBS/M Announces Roster to Defend USPRO Criterium Championship Title
Minneapolis, Min., August 15, 2008 — The Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast pro cycling team returns to Downers' Grove Illinois this weekend to defend the win that one year ago put the then fledgling squad on the US pro cycling map in a major way. One athlete missing from the lineup heading to the USPRO Criterium Championship will be Martin Gilbert, whose effort enabled the win in 2007, as this month he is racing at the Beijing Olympics.

Bajadli Finishes Second on GC at Tour des Pyrenees in France; Keogh Second in USA Cycling Criterium; King Top Ten in USA Cycling Road and Time Trial Championships
Minneapolis, Min., August 14, 2008 — It's crunch time for the Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast pro cycling team as the squad split across two continents to tackle back-to-back races this past week. While Andrew Bajadali brought home second overall in Le Tour des Pyrenees, France, Jake Keogh snatched second place in the USA Cycling U23 Criterium, Ben King earned a top ten slot in both the USA Cycling U23 Road and Time Trial National Championships and David Veilluex just missed out on the podium at the Rochester Criterium in New York.

Bajadali Snatches Green Points Jersey and Second Overall on GC
Minneapolis, Min., August 12, 2008 — Tough European competition and some of the same fierce climbs used by the Tour de France did not slow down the Kelly Benefit Strategies/Medifast team as the program’s efforts to rack up European race experience brings podium placements home this week. Andrew Bajadali, one of the squad’s strongest climbers, took the green points jersey and second overall in the general classification.
